Systemic review in venous sinus thrombosis on clinical picture of patient diagnosis and treatment

Abstract
Background: The Purpose of this systematic review is to provide a clinical picture of patient diagnosis and treatment of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. The intended audiences are physicians and other healthcare providers who are specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. Methods: All published studies from PubMed, Medline, the Cochrane Controlled Trials Register, and Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews up to April 2017 were reviewed. Study Selection: Randomized, controlled trials; systematic reviews of trials; and observational studies; all restricted to English-language articles. Conclusions: Clinical picture of patient is provided for the diagnosis and treatment of venous sinus thrombosis is described. Considerations for the diagnosis and treatment of venous sinus thrombosis during pregnancy and in the pediatric population are provided.
